- How does the marble stay in there ?
Each piece we make uses the same principal, tension, and that is the basic engineering principal of our entire product line. You simply pull the marble out, select the next marble color you want to use, and put it in place. If the marble is slightly loose in the holder, take the marble out again, gently squeeze the cups toward each other, and put the new marble back in. We have screened all the marbles for the kits, so we know they will all fit in the holder. They may vary a millimeter or so, but within the tolerances in your kit, they will all work!

- The Simple Pendant looks two toned, is it gold too?
The arched bar that connects the two cups is bronze, which is a very strong, yet flexible metal that will hold its shape after repeatedly interchanging the marble. The rest of the pendant is sterling silver.

- How do I avoid turning my skin blackish-green from wearing sterling silver?
If you are experiencing skin staining from wearing sterling silver, first try washing the piece in soap and water to remove any residual buffing compounds from the metal. If you use lotions, let the lotion absorb completely before putting on your jewelry to reduce any reactions with the metal. Sterling silver will oxidize and turn black naturally, so occasional polishing will also help to reduce any transfer of black to your skin. Our jewelry made of 100% sterling silver contains no nickel.
