Marble Sizes & How Interchangeable Jewelry Works

"Interchangeable jewelry" allows the wearer to customize the bauble or gemstone in their jewelry whenever they want. Interchangeable pendants, earrings and rings will have a method to releasably hold an ornamental object, which can be interchanged in a few easy steps.

"Got All Your Marbles?" line of interchangeable jewelry is elegant, sophisticated and cutting edge. The patented tension mechanisms allow the wearer to change the marble or gemstone in their jewelry whenever they want.

Each mechanism is available in a variety of styles. All pieces are fashioned of sterling silver or sterling silver and bronze, and all parts are guaranteed.

We also have available semi-precious gemstone "gem marbles" in all of the sizes. These are not beads; there is no hole drilled into them. We have a great variety, from natural semi-precious stones to dyed stones with great color and texture.

About Marble Sizes...

We make the jewelry using 5 different marble sizes. Each piece of jewelry is made to fit one of the sizes below.


"Itty Bitty" The smallest marble is the Itty Bitty at approx 0.45" or 10mm. It is a very sweet size. The Itty Bitty marbles come in the following 8 clear colors: red; yellow; green; royal blue; turquoise blue; iridescent turquoise blue; iridescent clear; and an opaque shiny silver that looks just like hematite.

"Pee Wee" The Pee Wee is approx 0.5" or 12mm and is just a wee bigger than the Itty Bitty. The Pee Wee marbles look like the traditional playing marbles, but smaller, with plenty of swirls and cat's eyes. 16 glass marbles: Irridescent opaque white; irridescent opaque periwinkle; irridescent opaque black; irridescent clear; irridescent clear pink; irridescent clear teal. Clear teal; clear green; clear royal blue; clear red. Swirled opaque turquoise, blue and black (this one is called "butterfly"); swirled opaque white, yellow and orange (looks like sherbet!); swirled opaque white, dark blue and teal; swirled transparent dark purple and orange. The cat's eye (clear with multicolors) marble varies. You may get a blue, orange and yellow cat's eye or a blue, green and yellow one. One opaque black marble.

"Fancy" The Fancy size is approx 0.55" or 14mm, and includes 30 translucent and opaque colors! This is our best selling size, partially because the marbles are all so beautiful, and also because it is the most for your money! This size has all the elegance of the smaller sizes, lots of jewel toned color choices and is big enough to make a large splash of color. 30 glass marbles: Iridescent opaque gray; iridescent opaque green; iridescent clear green; iridescent pale light green; iridescent opaque yellow; iridescent opaque periwinkle; iridescent opaque black; iridescent clear (Lisa tells everyone this is her diamond!); iridescent clear pink; iridescent clear teal; iridescent clear red; iridescent milky white (like a moonstone); iridescent black/grey (this one looks like a hematite); clear teal; clear green; clear royal blue; clear red; clear purple; swirled opaque turquoise, blue and black (this one is called "butterfly"); swirled opaque white, yellow and orange (looks like sherbet!); swirled transparent dark purple and orange; opaque milky blue; opaque milky lavander; opaque white. There are also a few single color cat's eye marbles (clear with a ribbon of color in the center): pale orange; white; yellow; green; red orange. There is one multicolor cat's eye marble in each kit, which varies. You may get a blue, orange and yellow cat's eye or a blue, green and yellow one. Sometimes the multicolored cat's eye is red, white and blue!

"Player" The 0.6&quot or 16mm marble is called the Player. This is the size of those old marbles you had when you were a kid, and the size makes a nice big 'statement' bauble in our jewelry. 15 glass marbles: green and yellow (called a parrot, which describes it well); clearish aqua with a white swirl that has a matte finish; solid black; yellow with a brownish/black ribbon (called a bumble bee); iridescent opaque red; iridescent opaque yellow; iridescent clear pink; iridescent royal blue; one called an 'oily' because it looks like an oil slick; iridescent milky pale blue with a silvery ribbon; opaque white with a light and dark blue ribbon; clear blue spaghetti marble with a lighter ribbon running through it; clear with a blue, yellow and orange ribbon running through it; and a clear marble that has a colorful textured surface (they've been called 'sesame seeds'.) The colors vary. You may get a periwinkle, red, yellow or green one. Very funky!

"Whopper" Our largest size of marble is 1" or 25mm, and we call them Whoppers! The Whopper sized jewelry will fit those old shooter marbles (or 'boulders') from your childhood. We only offer pendants in this size of interchangeable jewelry. The effect of the large sphere is astounding! 8 glass marbles: iridescent clear green; iridescent clear pink; clear blue spaghetti marble with a lighter ribbon running through it; clear iridescent with a purple and white ribbon running through it; one white cat's eye and one multicolored cat's eye. The multicolor varies. You may get a red one with a white swirl or a swirled opaque turquoise, blue and black (called "butterfly"). Gorgeous!
